The Screwed Up Help

See no evil when their tongues backlash at me
Lashing out at the only one who cared for their suffering heart
A wounded vessel in which I healed
With love that had been depleted from me
But I still gave it my all

Every ounce that was drained from my veins in order to refuel them
My hurt put on stand by
And my pain watching the joy of others like tears of sunshine
My happiness has never been limited when reaching out to others
Mourning never made it to my agenda

Only suck it up and push forward
Never noticing which doors were closing and when they would be reopened
I make it my right to notice what they never seen in me
Life’s spiral of rude awakenings
I give you my silence because I never had anyone to listen
