A Path to Peace

When I think of peace it’s a calming awareness to my spirit and soul.  But how do we obtain such?  We have to overcome all the elements around us and in us that are holding back our peace of mind.  There’s desire, there’s resistance, and then there’s the everyday struggles that want to break us.  You must continue your journey despite any difficulties.

Anger is an emotion that I’ve had to analyze lately.  Instead of looking angry like the average INTJ, I’ve actually been so.  Anxious as well.  Emotions can consume us if we allow them to.  Leaving our peace vulnerable.  After putting ourselves through so much there is a time when our spirit will tell us enough is enough.  Your spirit can’t breathe, it isn’t free and you must do something about it.

Life is always going to happen but we can still maintain our control.  When we feed into precisely things we can’t control is when we suffer.  Suffering is the path that leads to unhappiness.  A route my soul yearns to detour from.  If life is going to always be “happening” then we must continue to live through the trials. Peace is freedom. It is possible to obtain.

A machine may be broken down to be rebuilt again.  To be stronger, last longer and be more efficient.  So, during a spiritual journey you may not always feel the best inside and your eyes may be tainted as well.  Our spirits are similar to machines.  Not too much emotion present.  A stable awareness of the now.

Emotions will always be but in an aspect of thought out and controlled and not bursting through for your attention.  I know things like depression attempt to hold our minds, bodies, and souls hostage.  We can break free.  Practicing mindfulness and equanimity helps by keeping peace within you at any moment of hardship.  Whether it be thoughts, physical pain or outside influences.  The journey can be a tough one if we don’t wake up each day conciously aware of where we are, and if not who we are then who we want to be.  We can begin to move forward once we have answered those questions for ourselves.  We all deserve to not struggle.

Everyday is your day. Own it with productivity for success.

Traveling down unknown pathways and on the edge of adversity.
In my silence of pain I’ve created this masterpiece.
In only so many ways can this be explained.
Until some time again in a near future.
I will make sure you comprehend the rest.
Into the walls of my chest.
I cave with each second that passes.
Turning upside down empty glasses.
My mind portrays that it’s all about action.

To new beginnings that never happened.

best is yet to come

June 22, 2014

They say marijuana brings hallucinations and everything I see is quite clear.  I haven’t blogged in a very long time and I’m not sure what reason there could be for that.  I’m more in tune now with living life and staying in tune with everything that is going on around me.  Not much have I wrote out clearly what is going on in my head.  Mistakes have turned into blessing and everything much more than I’ve expected out of life so far.  Going on this path releases me from negative energy.  Of course with the occasional moments when I attempt to place extra stress on my trials of life.  Putting everything into perspective at this very moment, I am on the correct path.  After years of searching and wondering where my dedication to life will be placed other than being a mother.  I was meant for anything that God has on my path.  My mission is still my mission when it comes to being an inspiration.  Shit is good.  And I mean really good, depending on how you attempt to view life.  Your attitude is everything when it comes to getting through the days and going towards a goal.  My purpose lies in the lines of every notebook I have wrote in.  Music has become the soul center of my thoughts and now as well my actions.  Shit ain’t easy but it’s worth it.  If it was easy then everybody would be doing it,  I try to look at things from an angle of inspiration.  Let everything that comes into my life be a lesson.  This is therapy to me and without it I would continue to look at life in a confused state.  But damn right now I really feel good about all the decisions and choices being made.  I’ve crafted myself and created the journey that I wanted.  My dreams stick to me throughout the days.  My level of passion for everything has heightened,  The feeling is beyond serious between me and life.  My mission is to conquer it.  God is my soul center.  My daughter is the soul reason.  And poetry is the soul solution.  Let’s move into a higher state of consciousness to bring things to reality and minds beneath that leave me distant,  Just get it done and flow with it at your own pace.  I’ve searched for all of the words my entire life and finally, they come to the surface of everything I’ve been trying to communicate.  It’s a feeling of euphoria that can’t be ignored by any means necessary.  With all my intentions quite clear, keep this in perspective.

Love Admires You

Romantically speaking, love is always admiring you. In all of your essential states it sees your heart. These are the misunderstandings that plague the best of us. Love has no image to uphold or standards that make them ungrateful. It is patiently waiting for us to notice it and take advantage of the benefits. Often times it comes with confusion, mislead illusions developed from ignorance and mis-education. Common misrepresentations by our peers and influences.

But what do I know? I’ve only noticed the negative effects from it. The downfalls of what once was. All my love has truly sustained its strength with the injuries I have inflicted upon it. So today it still stands. True love will never fall, fail, plummet, or be destroyed by even the toughest adversities.

As I sit here and think, staring in the mirror, I focus on my physical experience for a second. I ask myself, “What is beauty to us? What is religion to us? What is anything to us? How are we as children with premature minds creating our own perceptions that haven’t already been placed in our minds from our environments?”. Something else that’s floating in my mind, how many of us are in situations where we “think” someone feels a certain way about us without any valid facts? What you THINK in your mind could be all false beliefs. It’s funny how our brains are “pre”wired. Hard drives filled up with preconceived notions and negative beliefs. But when you keep a mind of an optimist, thoughts sometimes fall in their place correctly.

It seems to be our beliefs that make us the unique individuals we are. No two people are the same because of distinct looks and an individually crafted life setup.

Food for Thought.
Clear your mind of clutter.

Please Believe in Yourself

Hello Everyone!

These last few months of my life have been extremely interesting all while finding my way to my true self. I know I always put a great amount of emphasis on believing in yourself, chasing your dreams, and never letting anyone tell you what you can or can’t do in this life. This is YOUR life. Each person, past and present, have had or is getting the chance to create themselves and their life for what they want it to be. You are entitled to that same free will. Unhappiness can be changed only if you have the motivation to make the change. No one can live life for you even though at times we wish that could be possible. Actually, it is possible, but that is when you become a slave to your reality without freedom within your heart.

Just several months ago, I was lost, broken, confused, and off balanced about which direction I should go in life. And when I finally released a bit of control and gave my worries and heartache over to God, my life is in alignment. My purpose, who knows what their purpose truly is until their last days. I believe in myself beyond measures and more than I thought I ever could. I’ve had the support of my family, close friends, and even strangers who couldn’t even begin to know me but none of that ever mattered because I didn’t believe in myself enough. Low self esteem and a slim amount of confidence can’t get you very far in life. You have to wake up each day, look into the mirror, look into your eyes and tell yourself that you are important, you matter, your life matters, and what you have to say is important.

believe in yourself

Dreams matter. At times I feel like some of my dreams are too far fetched, like life can’t really be how I want it. But why can’t it? Is it not something I deserve if I work hard enough for it? Claiming your life as your own is the very first step to happiness.

-Make a list of goals for yourself
Short term and long term, trust me I know how hard this could be but once you find your direction it all falls into place

-Allow only supportive and positive people within your circle
If it’s someone you want to keep around, then speak to them about any issues, if they continue to taint your life, then place a space between the two

-Create some positive affirmations and say them to yourself in the mirror (THIS REALLY WORKS!)

-Care about your looks
They matter

-Establish your dream and your true purpose
Since I’m not going to go to heavy into this topic, there are some great articles online about discovering what you really want to do with your life

Know that you are unique and there is no one else like you and the package that you have to offer. Everyone has their own light. You choose whether to let it shine or not.
